Once to every man and nation
Comes the moment to decide
In the strife of truth with falsehood
For the good or evil side
Some great cause, God’s new Messiah
Offering each the bloom or blight
And the choice goes by for ever
‘Twixt that darkness and that light.
Then to side with truth is noble,
When we share her wretched crust
Ere her cause bring fame and profit
And tis prosperous to be just
Then it is the brave man chooses
While the coward stands aside
Till the multitude make virtue
Of the faith they had denied.
By the light of burning martyrs
Christ, thy bleeding feet we track
Tolling up new Calvaries ever
With the cross that turns not back
New occasions teach new duties;
Time makes ancient good uncouth
They must upward still and onward who would keep abreast of truth.
Though the cause of evil prosper
Yet ‘tis truth alone is strong
Though her potion be the scaffold
And upon the throne be wrong
Yet that scaffold sways the future
And behind the dim unknown
Standeth God within the shadow
Keeping watch above his own.

As I journey through the land; singing as I go,
Pointing souls to Calvary, to the crimson flow,
Many arrows pierce my soul, from without, within,
But my Lord leads me on; through Him, I must win.
CHORUS: Oh, I want to see Him, look upon His face,
There to sing forever of His saving grace!
On the streets of glory, let me lift my voice,
Cares all past; home at last, ever to rejoice.
When in service for my Lord, dark may be the night,
But I’ll cling more close to Him; He will give me light;
Satan’s snares may vex my soul, turn my thoughts aside,
But my Lord goes ahead, leads what e’er betide.
When in valleys low, I look towards the mountain height,
And behold my Saviour there, leading in the fight,
With a tender hand outstretched towards the valleys low,
Guiding me, I can see, as I onward go.
When before me billows rise from the mighty deep,
Then my Lord directs my back; He doth safely keep,
And He leads me gently on through this world below,
He’s a real Friend to me; oh,
I love Him so!

“Must I go-an empty handed?”
Thus my dear Redeemer meet?
Not one day of service give Him,
Lay on trophy; at His feet?
Chorus: “Must I go an empty handed?”
Must I meet my Saviour so”
Not one soul with which to greet Him?
Must I empty-handed go?
Not a death I shrink or falter
For my Saviour saves me now:
But to meet Him empty handed,
Thought of that now clouds my brow;
Oh, the years of sinning wasted,
Could I but recall them back,
I would give them to my Saviour,
To His will I’d gladly bow.
Up, ye saints, arouse, be earnest!
Up and work while yet ’tis day;
Ere the night of death o’ertake thee,
Strive for souls while yet you may.
Amen.

In times like this, we have a Saviour
In times like this, we have an anchor
Be very sure, be very sure
Your anchor holds and grips the solid rock
Chorus: This rock is Jesus, yes is the one
This rock is Jesus, the only one
Be very sure, be very sure
Your anchor holds and grips the solid rock
In time like this, you need a Bible
In time like this, oh be not idle
Be very sure, be very sure
Your anchor holds and grips the solid rock
In time like this, I have a Saviour
In time like this, I have an anchor
I’m very sure, I’m very sure
My anchor holds and grips the solid rock
This rock is Jesus, yes is the one
This rock is Jesus, the only one
I’m very sure, I’m very sure
My anchor holds and grips the solid rock

Fading away like the stars of the morning
Loosing their light in the glorious sun
Thus would be pass from the earth and his toiling
Only remember by what we have done
Chorus: Only remember, only remember ,only remember by
What we have done
Thus would be passed from the earth and his toiling,
Only remember by what we have done
Shall we be missed, though by others succeeded
Reaping the field we in springtime have sown?
Yes, but the sowers must pass from their labour
Ever remember by what we have done
Only the truth that in life we have spoken
Only the seed that on earth we have sown
These shall pass onward when we are forgotten
Fruit of the harvest and what we have done
Oh when the savior shall makeup His jewels
When the bright crowns of rejoicing are won
Then shall His weary and faithful disciples
And be remember by what we have done

Facing a task unfinished
that drives us to our knees,
a need that, undiminished,
rebukes our slothful ease,
we who rejoice to know you
renew before your throne
the solemn pledge we owe you
to go and make you known.
Chorus: We go to all the world
With Kingdom hope unfurled
No other name has power to save
But Jesus Christ the Lord
Where other lords beside
you
hold their unhindered sway,
where forces that defied you
defy you still today,
with none to heed their crying
for life and love and light,
unnumbered souls are dying
and pass into the night.
We bear the torch that flaming
fell from the hands of those
who gave their lives proclaiming
that Jesus died and rose;
ours is the same commission,
the same glad message ours;
fired by the same ambition,
to you we yield our pow’rs.
O Father, who sustained them,
O Spirit, who inspired,
Savior, whose love constrained them
to toil with zeal untired,
from cowardice defend us,
from lethargy awake!
Forth on your errands send us
to labor for your sake

Jesus send more labourers
For Lord we see the need
The land is ready for harvest
The fields are ripe indeed
Oh Lord but start with me
Jesus begin with me
Who will go for You Lord
Who will go for You Lord
Here I am Lord, Send me
Send me Lord, Send me
Lord we love our country
Countless lives to be won
Jesus bring revival
That through us Your will be done
Lord we sense Your moving
Touching our lives with power
We are ready to serve You
To go this day this hour
